Founded in 1924, Bradenton Country Club is a classic Donald Ross design, once restored in 1999 by Ron Garl and recently “restorvated” by the Hall of Famer Tony Jacklin, CBE. The original golf course was nestled in a “land of palms and oaks” according to a 1925 newspaper. The original club name was Palma Sola Country Club, which was later changed to Bradenton Country Club after the city was renamed Bradenton from Bradentown. Our Palm Tree logo was adopted from the term “Palma Sola”, which means solidarity palm. This palm could be seen and used as navigation for the ships in the early days to sail into the bay, now known as Palma Sola Bay. In addition to its beautiful golf course, the club is home to seven Championship Har-Tru Tennis Courts, six Pickleball Courts, Driving Range, Fitness Center, Resort-Style Heated Swimming Pool, exquisite Dining and many Social Events throughout the year.
As a private, member-owned club, Bradenton Country Club boasts an active membership, member-elected Board, and committed staff.
